WW II TUSKEGEE ALL BLACK FIGHTER SQUADRON PATCH - 100TH FS
The Tuskegee airmen overcame incredible obstacles to become fighter pilots during WW II. Despite extreme prejudice and lack of confidence from some HQ Commanders and archaic assumptions that black pilots were not suitable for combat roles, the Tuskegee airmen overcame these obstacles to become highly decorated combat groups and were considered top combat fighter pilots, whom never lost a bomber during escort duty! We offer some very nice Tuskegee Fighter Squadron insignia. Full size 5" diameter and in full color. Using 1940's embroidery techniques, we offer some of the best squadron patches obtainable.
